In the fall of 2009, the MBTA released all of the transactions for all of the trains for one day in the summer. The idea was to let people use the information to create some sort of visualization. I decided to create an animation that represented the flow of people entering the green line spanning the entire day. The following animation took the data file, parsed the information, and created the resulting visuals and audio based entirely on the data. Each cube represents one person getting on the T at that particular minute. Each blob shows the number of people getting on the green line at that particular minute.
